Welcome Members and Friends of the OYC
The Oakmont Yacht Club is situated on the banks of the Allegheny River, 13 miles northeast of downtown Pittsburgh in the town of Oakmont. The club holds its place as one of the oldest inland yacht clubs in the United States.
It was established on July 4, 1903 by C.V. Tiers with a group of friends who loved the river, boating, and were devoted to the club and its members. That same commitment to the club and its members continues in 2015. For more club history, Read more here...
Today, the club is a vibrant landmark, where its members enjoy gathering with friends and family in a private setting where they can enjoy watching the river and all it has to offer. The hours of operation are listed on the right. Join us for cocktails, lunch or dinner and at any of our scheduled OYC events.
The list of the 2015-2016 Board of Governors can be viewed here.
